1st out of the Water - 2009 Ironman World Championship; 3rd year in a row
For the third year in a row at the Ironman World Champioship, the first age-grouper out of the water after 2.4 miles of swimming was in an XTERRA Velocity++ speedsuit. Igor Nastic, from Switzerland, bested some of the fastest swimmers in the world to exit the water fresh and relaxed in his XTERRA Velocity++.
In 2007 it was Mark van Akkeren, an age-grouper, who posted the fastest overall swim time in an XTERRA suit. In 2008 it was Noa Sakamoto, also an age-grouper, who posted the fastest overall swim time in an XTERRA suit. This year Igor was one of four guys in the top-10 who exited the water wearing an XTERRA suit.
