Repairs
If you find you have a fingernail tear or cut in your suit, this can be glued by you at home with simple wetsuit adhesive glue that can be purchased at any swim or sporting goods store . Repairing the tear is easy. Please follow these simple instructions:
- Lay the wetsuit on a flat surface. Gently pinch open the slit so that it exposes the internal liner. Apply a thin equal layer to both surfaces (neoprene and liner).
- Now press the cut so that it is flat (not sticking up). Apply another layer of glue to the layer on top of the tear and smooth out the layer on top.
- Let the wetsuit dry on a flat surface for approximately 15 hours (reference the directions on the adhesive tube).
- Job done!
