Comfortable Review by Joe
Price Value Quality Over the years I have purchased many wet suits, and have struggled with the fit of most of them. I have to say, the Pro Vector goes fit perfectly. The neck area is flexible and very comfortable, flexible without being tight. (Posted on 4/30/12)

Value for money Review by Richele
Price Value Quality Love my Vector Pro X2! Fit is fantastic; material is comfortable, flexible and doesn't impede my stroke...yet is warm enough for open ocean swims. Value for money, one of the best wetsuits I have worn! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Uncompromising Product with Reliability of the best, at a lower price Review by Kieran
Price Value Quality I have a 20 yr old QR suit, a 5 yr old ProMotion, and now the Vector Pro X2. The progression is remarkable. Ridiculous flexibility with even more buoyancy, yet still made to last. I use mine for Xterra racing and it handles those rough races with ease. I also own the Velocity .02 Speedsuit, because I've come to trust Xterra products. Xterra gives you an uncompromising product with the reliability of the best, at a lower price. What's not to love? (Posted on 1/23/12)

Fits like a dream! Review by Cary
Price Value Quality By the far the best wetsuit I've ever worn. My previous wetsuit was so difficult to get on and off I had to cut the arms and legs. Even then it was a struggle to get it over my hands and feet, even with the help of wetsuit peelers at the races. My Vector Pro X2 fits like a dream AND is easy to get in and, more importantly, out of. The material is more flexible and comfortable material than I have ever experienced. For the first time in 9 ironman races I had a significantly faster swim wearing my Vector Pro X2. (Posted on 1/23/12)

Terrific Wetsuit Review by Brian
Price Value Quality The Vector Pro full wetsuit has been terrific. I've been competing in triathlons since 1984, had to many wetsuits to list, by far this suit is the best one! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Love the fit and feel Review by Douglas
Price Value Quality Love the fit and feel. Swimming in it I don't feel as if I have a wetsuit on. I feel fast and lots of great arm and shoulder flexibility. I also can bend my knees pretty easy on the water exit and run in a race.
HOWEVER, the suit tears easy. Each race trying to have a speedy transition I have somehow torn the suit.

Wanted Good, Got Great Review by Gonzalo
Price Value Quality Great Suit!!!!!!!! I've been using it since 08, it was my first wetsuit. I wanted something good and ended up with something great. I love it, it's flexible, fast, zipper is simple. And resistant. The only reason why I changed it is because I'm lucky to be sponsored by Xterra and I upgraded to the Vendetta for this upcoming season. Otherwise Vector pro all the way!!!! (will still use it for training for sure) (Posted on 1/23/12)

Taken technology to the next level Review by Aaron
Price Value Quality The Vector Pro X2 has taken technology for wetsuits to the next level. VPX2 is like having a second skin, you glide through the water with minimal resistance and less fatigue when you leave the water and run towards the transition area. You will be glade you are wearing a VPX2. (Posted on 1/23/12)

Best wetsuit on the market by far Review by Patrick
Price Value Quality Best wetsuit on the market by far. My new Vector wetsuit replaced my 2 year old Blue Seventy Helix and I can't believe how much more comfortable and better fitting the Xterra wetsuit it. Plus with a company like Xterra Wetsuits backing this product you know it will last for years! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Lots of Stretch Review by Jukka
Price Value Quality I have been a tri/multisport athlete for 25+ years, competing in pro/elite levels. I've gone through allot of suits. The suit this replaced was an IM StealthPro. This suit fits someone with an over-built swimmer's upper body with skinny waist and butt very well - unlike many others on the market. If you are a strong and fast swimmer, consider this suit as the shoulder and lat areas are very thin, have allot of stretch, and are made up of several smaller panels. The suit has allot of buoyancy so for the strong swimmer, having the legs so high in the water line may take some getting used to. Since all suits need to be tight, you'll need to practice peeling this one off with efficiency. Also, ensure your fingernails are trimmed close. Consider using this suit for racing, and pick up another less expensive Xterra model for training. Xterra has great customer service and their sizing chart is accurate. (Posted on 1/23/12)

SUPER fast & feeling fresh Review by Brian
Price Value Quality Unbelievable suit. replaced DeSoto 2 piece suit (which I really liked but had gotten old) and the Vector Pro X2 Fullsuit is SUPER fast and lead to a 1:01 Ironman swim and felt as fresh as the day is long when I got out of the water. Awesome job Xterra! (Posted on 1/23/12)

LOVE at first stroke! Review by Karlyn
Price Value Quality I am a professional swimmer with a 49 min. IM swim time with NO wetsuit, so I was not sure what to expect. I took my LS Vector pro out of the box, put it on and did a 5k lake swim in Vermont. It was LOVE at first stroke! I had never worn sleeves before and was nursing a bicept tendon issue, so I was bit concerned. NOT! The suit fit me like a glove, it swam like a dream and kept me warm and toasty. I also used TRISLIDE on the neck for chaffing, but it was probably not needed. Thanks XTERRA for a fabulous wetsuit. Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen www.aquaticedge.org (Posted on 1/23/12)

Range of motion remains completely unrestricted Review by Darren
Price Value Quality I was a bit anxious in my decision to go with the long sleeves, but I couldn't be happier with the vector pro x2. My range of motion remains completely unrestricted. The suit keeps me quite cozy in icy cold water. The fit is snug, but very comfortable. Well done XTERRA!! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Intermediate size? Review by Todd
Price Value Quality Great suit, beat my 2k swim time by 3 minutes. Fits on the large side as I am between a small and medium, wish there was a small/medium as it would be perfect. Also where do you attach the zipper leash when swimmimg? (Posted on 1/23/12)

Performs Admirably Review by Andrew
Price Value Quality A fantastic wetsuit. Supple thin in all the right places, while still being warm as all heck. I swim in temperatures below 55-degrees and this wetsuit performs admirably. It's quick, too - I recently won the swim leg at Big Kahuna wearing this sucker! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Size up if you're between sizes Review by Stephanie
Price Value Quality when xterra did not have my size in the sleeveless vector pro x2, i decided to upgrade to the full sleeve and SO GLAD i did! i've loved the suite. it's made from quality material and fits very well. the sizing chart estimated i'd be small-med, however i found the medium to be a much better fit, so if you are between sizes, i'd suggest going up. Works Flawlessly Review by Brad
Price Value Quality I bought my wetsuit last year and could not be happier with it. It works flawlessly in both training and races. I have not had any problems with rips or material defects at all. I am a little taller (I am 5' 10" and 153lbs) and I got a SLO and it fits me perfectly. The Zipper is easy to grab and conveniently has a velcro on the tail of it to loop on the neck velcro. It does not seem to impede my stroke much at all. If there was one problem I would say the back of the neck does chafe a little but a little bodyglide and I am good to go. (Posted on 1/23/12)

Aided Swimming Form Review by Keith
Price Value Quality Bought this suit earlier this year when starting tris. Many of my friends were complaining about how a wetsuit impeded their stroke. I was hoping I would experience much of that myself and to my amazement not only did I not experience that but I think it actually helped. The contours of the suit seemed to aid my form, especially when tiring near the end of a 1.2 mile swim. Warm enough for ocean, but not constricting thickness. Amazingly easily to get on (even without body glide) and off (even without wetsuit peelers). This suit is fantastic! (Posted on 1/23/12)

Fits Perfectly Review by Ben
Price Value Quality Wetsuit fits perfectly - based on my body type, Xterra assistant recommended my purchased size which matched the online recommendation. No water gets in thru the neck - much better than my previous suit (QR). Drawback is I warm up a bit more now. Suit is nicely buoyant and provides ample room for arm stroke rotation. Arm & leg material though are very soft. Unfortunately too soft! Foot opening is very tight and difficult to put feet thru - I tore my wetsuit at calf location (I don't have long finger nails!) on first swim while putting it on. The tear was a stress tear from pulling/tugging. I patched it up and again it tore in the same general area on my second swim even though I used neoprene lubrication. Now I roll the suit leg on along with plastic bag on foot as well as neoprene lubricant spray on the wetsuit. I would not have paid this amount for this wetsuit if I had known it was so delicate. Btw - my previous suit (for many years) never tore as this one does and I never had to use lubrication, plastic bag, or had to roll the legs on. (Posted on 1/23/12)

No Brainer for Beginners or Pros Review by Nate
Price Value Quality Great wetsuit! You can't beat the price. I have rented other more expensive wetsuits and honestly couldn't tell much difference in comfort or speed. This is a no brainer if you're a beginner, and a great practice suit if you're a pro! (Posted on 1/20/12)

Great Tool During Races Review by Jason
Price Value Quality Suit fit is great and it doesn't affect shoulder rotation or movement. Suit is very slick and I feel faster with it on.
As a "less-than-stellar" swimmer, this suit is a great tool during races. (Posted on 1/20/12) -
Rewarded with Extra Speed Review by Ed
Price Value Quality Suit has been the perfect addition for me as a new triathlete. The customer service rep was great on helping me identify which suit size was perfect for me as I was out of shape and prepping for my first 70.3. She looked into my height and weight and what my goal was (70.3) and made calculated guess on what would be best overall fit. First time I put it on, it was tight, but with my 70.3 just days away it is a dream. Fits perfectly (Medium Long), allows for great arm movement, and the extra speed is a great reward.
I would order the sleeveless if I had funds to get another in a heartbeat.
Overall - great suit, great customer service (Posted on 1/19/12) -
Great Fitting Suit at Good Price Review by David
Price Value Quality The Vector Pro X2 full wetsuit is great! Very flexible and warm. It is my first wetsuit and I have no complaints other than getting it off my legs in transitions. Others recommended trimming the bottom a bit and this helped speed things up.
2010 was my first year for triathlons so I did a fair amount of online research before buying. The quality of Xterra wetsuits, their reputation for no hassle customer service, and frequent sales sealed the deal for me. End result-a great fitting suit at a good price. Used 12 times already and have raced twice in sometimes chilly Seattle area lakes with no problems. (Posted on 1/19/12) -

Great for both Veterans & Rookies Review by Allison
Price Value Quality I purchased this suit to train for and compete in my first IM (Wisconsin 2010). I had never trained or competed in a wetsuit before and was a little hesitant about full sleeves. All hesitation disappeared after swimming in this suit for the first time. I have full range of motion and remain comfortable and confident in this suit. I use Body Glide on my neck to prevent any chafing, but have never had any real chafing issues. From reading reviews, it seems like this is a great suit for both veterans and rookies (like me!). Very pleased! (Posted on 1/18/12)

It's the BEST! Review by Christina
Price Value Quality I LOVE my Vector Pro X2 wetsuit! Being a lifelong swimmer, I really didn't want to give into EVER wearing a wetsuit. Once I started training for a full Ironman I knew I'd be the only one out there not wearing one, if I stuck with those original thoughts. I was hesitant about long sleeves as I had heard they are confining. You cannot even tell you have full sleeves on while wearing this wetsuit. It's the BEST! It allows for full range of motion and there is nothing confining about it. I have also never had any chaffing issues on my neck. I am so pleased and proud to wear this wetsuit, and have even convinced many Tri friends to purchase this one. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Spoiled by Xterra Review by Sandra
Price Value Quality I was steered towards buying an Xterra wetsuit through my triathlon coach (BIG supporter of Xterra here in Canada), and chose the Vector Pro X2. What a GREAT suit! I don't have enough triathlon experience to be able to compare other suits made by different companies, but I think I've been spoiled by this one. Took it on some swims this past summer in a freezing cold lake, and I felt just great! Very flexible, great sizing chart for the best fit, cool design, and just super fun to use. I LOVE it! I will definitely stick Xterra for any future purchases. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Glide Ahead of Competition Review by Mark
Price Value Quality This suit is the best. I have used others suits in the past, and nothing compares to the Vector series. Its comfortable, easy to put on and quick off, with the extended zipper cord. In the water this suite will make you glide ahead of the other competitors. If you are going to buy a suite...don't look any further. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Less work for faster speeds Review by Dan
Price Value Quality Picked up a Vector Pro wetsuit for my first Olympic distance TRI, and I have to say the fit and design are amazingly comfortable and confidence inspiring. I feel it is a great investment that I can grow into. Great value for $$. Will I ever be on a podium anytime soon.... I doubt it, but when I am swimming in it I feel MUCH faster than without it. I was doing less work for faster speeds in an open lake than I enjoyed at the club pool. The confidence inspiring design makes me want to push harder and farther. Big and bad enough in my book to take me through any race at any distance. 30 day satisfaction ...No, I can't say you will be getting this one back. It is awesome!! Hopefully as resources permit I can pick up a Volt for a 'daily driver' Great job XTERRA!! A great suit that any level triathlete can appreciate. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Noticeable benefits Review by Kevin
Price Value Quality I purchased the Vector Pro X2 (Full suit). It was my first wetsuit, and the benefits were immediately noticeable. The description of the suit provided on the website was accurate, and I am already looking forward to my next couple of Tri's. I would highly recommend both the Vector Pro X2 and especially, Xterra Wetsuits. Their customer support was second to none and they were tremendously helpful when my order was backordered twice. I contacted them and there was an immediate, friendly response. Now that's something everyone can appreciate. (Posted on 1/18/12)

Excellent wetsuit for all levels. Fast, durable, comfortable, and form fitting. Review by Armi
Price Value Quality This is the best wetsuit I've ever owned. Its incredibly fast, and provides perfect balance in the water. It stands up to sand, gravel, dirt and mud without so much as a single nick. This is the ultimate wetsuit for an excellent price. You can't go wrong with this one. (Posted on 11/29/11)

Great suit, great service Review by Steve
Price Value Quality My wife and I both bought Vector Pro suits and love them. Comfortable, bouyant and fast - can't imagine getting a better suit for the price. Service was also excellent - my wife was on the divide between sizes and needed to exchange her suit. Xterra handled the exchange quickly and cheerfully. Thanks! (Posted on 11/16/11)

Speed, Comfort, Value. Review by Land
Quality Price Value I raced in this wetsuit for the 2011 season and I absolutely love it. The comfort is unbeatable. I feel no restriction in my shoulders while I swim (a big plus since I've had shoulder surgery), the fit is tight enough to prevent water from leaking in, but flexible enough that it doesn't restrict breathing. On top of that, the price beats anything else on the market. This is absolutely the best suit for your money. (Posted on 11/13/11)
