Vendetta is an awesome suit.
If you are an average swimmer the “Vendetta” will make you great.
The leg buoyancy is amazing you don’t even have to kick to swim; it saves energy and is well worth the $$. I was always a bit slow taking my old wetsuit off during T1; with Vendetta I am soooo much faster. (Posted on 1/23/12)

VENDETTA (V) It’s a great suit!!! I AM NOT a great swimmer and I need ALL the help I can get. That’s what the V does, it helps you. It has thicker neoprene around the legs; this elevates the legs, inherently improving form. It also has thinner sleeves for easier arm movement. The chest area has dimples (nice)!!! I have always owned Xterra wetsuits and when I signed up for IMWI I knew I needed a bit of help on the swim. The Vendetta had me out of the water like I barely swam 1/2mile let alone 2.4 (just the way I planned). This suit is awesome. Very buoyant, very fast. Makes a terrible swimmer like me fly in the water. Best I have ever swam is while in this suit. It does have shortcomings: VERY fragile. I take super good care of my gear. I always use care and caution when putting on/taking off my wetsuit. This suit in one summer got 3 nasty tears and a couple of minor bumps and bruises. FAST!!! Went from a 33:30 in my other wetsuit on a 1/2 to 59:41 in IM. Neck feels a bit tight to walk around in but feels perfect when you get horizontal. And that is usually a big deal for me. (Posted on 1/23/12)

By far and away the fastest wetsuit I have ever swam in. It really is unbelievable. Not only can I personally endorse it, but I'm the director of the Snapple Tri Team and can say the whole team loves it. I am IN LOVE. The Vendetta is the most amazing wetsuit I've ever worn and I'm not kidding. It is so flexible and COMFORTABLE. What a concept! I race sprint tris, at the Worlds and National Championship races, where every second counts and I would not use, after racing for 25 years and more than 400 races, anything other than a Vendetta. I went from an Orca suit I got when I did Team In Training, to the Xterra Vendetta. There really is no comparison. The Vendetta is lightweight, flexible material. Very easy to go on and come off. I did my fist Ironman in my Vendetta and it was an amazing swim, very comfortable the entire time. Also, Xterra stands by their products and that is great peace of mind. (Posted on 1/23/12)

I have never finished a sprint tri without doing at least some breast stroke as my legs start to sink while doing freestyle. The first time I put on my Vendetta I had to stop swimming at 1.3 miles in the open water, NOT because I was tired, but because I had to be somewhere. My swim time in my most recent Olympic distance Triathlon was some 10 seconds per hundred quicker than my times in the pool.This was also substantiated by a Female pro athlete who I train with who is 10 seconds faster over 100 metres yet our swim times were identical over 1500.My Vendetta wetsuit made the difference and I believe it to be the most comfortable, flexible and fastest wetsuit in the world ! It wouldn't be fair to say the Vendetta is the best suit in the market. Both me and my coach use this as our race wetsuit (and training so far), however we haven't tried all wetsuits to assure you it's the best in the market. But we can tell you it is THE BEST WE'VE TRIED.
There's a huge difference between your regular suit and a Vendetta suit, it's like a whole different category in wetsuits. More flexible, lightweight, and buoyant.
I actually noticed it right away, the first time I used it I couldn't believe it. It fits right in, a lot easier than other suits.And feels way more comfortable.
Most likely to improve your swim experience, maybe same times but they feel easier to get. It's a great advantage if you can afford it!! (Posted on 12/30/11)

In 2011 I wore the Xterra Vendetta for my first year as a professional triathlete. Swimming has always been the toughest discipline for me in triathlon. It was important for me to find the fastest wetsuit on the planet and I've found it in the Vendetta! I had the fastest overall swim split in 2 races this year. I also had the highest swim ranking I have ever had in all the races I did this year that I had previously done. There's no doubt the Vendetta was a big reason. It is also very durable. I wore it in 9 races and over 25 open water swims without any damage at all. I would recommend this suit to anyone who is in the market for the fastest wetsuit available. I often do 1,000 yard open water repeats in a nearby lake. I do 2 of them with the Vendetta and my time ranges from 13:30-13:45. When I take the suit off for my 3rd one my time is 15:20-15:40. I'm nearly 2 minutes faster in the Vendetta over 1,000 yards. The watch doesn't lie...the Vendetta is fast! (Posted on 12/6/11)
