After just one year competing in the triathlon, Henry earned his pro card for USAT in 2009. As a UCLA Bruin alum and steeplechase All-American, Henry is known for his ability in the run portion of triathlons as he posted the fastest run split in virtually every triathlon in which he competed during the 2009 season. His first season ended on a high note when he received the coveted Speedster Award from the LA Tri Club, the largest triathlon club in the United States.
