Sean Bechtel transitioned into triathlon after having a successful swimming career through his early teens. After developing a passion for the bicycle, combined with his speedy swimming and collegiate cross-country running experience, Sean was competing with world-class triathletes at an early age. Sean is a two-time national junior medalist (and world-team member) and he made the Pan American Games team when he was just 19 years of age. As a professional triathlete, Sean is successful at both draft-legal Olympic distances and non-drafting 70.3 distances. His focus is to compete in the 2012 Olympics.
